Lunch Made Easy: #NaturalFoods #BacktoSchool Shopping

Foods & Kroger. All opinions are my own. Full disclosure.

While we were living in Southwest Michigan, we did not have any Kroger stores in our area. I knew, however, from visiting family in other places how great their Natural & Organic Foods Section was.

Now that we've recently moved to the Tucson, Arizona area we get to frequent Fry's Food which is part of the Kroger Company family of stores.

I was so excited to start our back to school grocery shopping to get all our favorite gluten free & allergy friendly needs.

The stores have a huge dedicated section of aisles to your favorite natural food items and brands. It's sometimes limited in typical grocery stores finding allergy friendly specific items, but Kroger Company stores offer a wide variety at great prices.

Having so many options is crucial for back to school lunch shopping. Yes, it's that time of year again! Kroger Company stores carry many of your favorite brands like So Delicious, Silk, and Horizon to help make sure your family is getting delicious protein packed lunches.

Lets face it - you can only have so many sandwiches for so many days before you need a change up. One of our favorite things to do, for school or work, is pack breakfast for lunch.

Since the Dairy-Free Silk Yogurt Alternative has 6 grams of protein, I know it'll be a filling option to help my family power through the day.

Pack it with fresh fruit and granola to mix in to amp it up with additional nutrients and grains.

The single serve drink boxes are also a great option to pack in lunches, since they don't have to be refrigerated.

Fun Tip: Since Little Miss as very young, we have always pulled up the top side tabs on her drink boxes or juice boxes. We call them "wings". Reason being, this gives kids an easier way to hold onto their drink boxes rather than accidentally squeezing the drink box too hard and making a mess.

Silk Single Serve Drink Boxes have an almond and coconut cross contact warning.

Do you shop are your local Kroger Company family stores? What are your favorite finds in the Natural Foods & Organic Section?

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Horizon, Silk, & So Delicious (WhiteWave Foods). The opinions and text are all mine.

  4. We don't have Kroger down here in the south, and I've never seen a Natural Foods & Organic Section, either. But love Silk products - so yummy!
